SUS 430 stainless steel
SUS 430 is a stainless steel that is relatively low in copper, nickel and other alloying elements. It is an alloy of iron and chromium. Its main feature is its simple chemical composition, in which the chromium content is about 16-18%. This low-alloy steel has excellent corrosion resistance and is particularly suitable for use in low-corrosive environments.
SUS 430 Chemical Properties
The main chemical components of SUS 430 include chromium, iron, carbon, nickel and copper. The addition of chromium gives it anti-oxidation properties and forms a protective oxide film. The low content of carbon makes it stable at high temperatures. Additionally, SUS 430 does not contain nickel, which makes it relatively economical in terms of price.

SUS 430 physical properties
The physical properties of SUS 430 include density, thermal conductivity and thermal expansion coefficient. Because it does not contain nickel, it has a lower density, which may be an advantage in some applications. Superior thermal conductivity properties allow it to perform better in high-temperature environments, while a lower thermal expansion coefficient helps reduce stress caused by temperature changes.
SUS 430 corrosion resistance
Although SUS 430 has lower corrosion resistance than other stainless steels, it still performs well in low-corrosive environments. Particularly in relatively dry, chloride-free environments, SUS 430 provides acceptable corrosion resistance. However, in high chloride environments, other stainless steel materials may need to be considered.
SUS 430 product application
SUS 430 is widely used in various fields due to its relatively economical price and moderate performance. In the construction industry, it is often used in interior decoration, kitchen appliances, etc. In the automotive industry, SUS 430 can be used as a manufacturing material for some automotive parts. In addition, SUS 430 is also widely used in electrical appliance manufacturing, food processing and other industries.
